The Dani: Availability

One of the core values of the Brit Schmit brand is “SHARE THE STORY”. We believe that everyone has a story and everything has a story behind it, and that it is so important to share those stories with each other.

Because of this, each of our jumpsuits is named after an inspirational woman. Here is the story and inspiration behind the Dani romper.

Not everyone is lucky enough to grow up living in the same town as their cousins; I was. Even though we are 6 years apart, when I was a young teenager, my oldest cousin began inviting me down to the local coffee shop to have a cup of coffee (or smoothie or Italian soda) and just talk.

I couldn’t tell you how often we got together, just that I always looked forward to it.

That simple act of getting together for coffee made me feel so seen and heard, like I was worth something. That left a lasting impression on me and has motivated me to be aware and available when the opportunity arises to be available and make time for other young women.
