Inspiring Reads that are Shaping My Company

The Go-Giver – by Bob Burg and John David Mann

This quick anecdote delivers powerful lessons about leadership and connection. I’ve listened to it at least half a dozen times now.

Overcome and Lead – by Anne Beiler (Founder of Auntie Anne’s Pretzles)

The story of how Auntie Anne (the person and the company) came to be. How she started from an Amish girl with an 8th grade education to leading an international franchise, and what she learned about leadership along the way. (I had the opportunity to meet this amazing woman and you know one thing, she cares. She took the time to come around and give each of us at her talk a hug.)

The Culture Code – by Daniel Coyle

This is the longest read of the three, but the stories and lessons from successful cultures are something to aspire to, and at times throughout the book I was nearly shouting “Yes!” because they talked about things that I already want to incorporate into my own company.
