Embracing Slow Fashion and Slow Living

As a business owner, things can change in an instant, and you have to be ready to pivot quickly when things change.

Over the last few months I had been talking with some potential investors in our company. In the end, while they think the business will be very successful, they weren't able to invest the amount they think will be needed to really get the retail business going. We are exploring our options, but having my second child due at the end of March makes things more tricky as well.

What this means for you is that, as much as I had wanted to get these jumpsuits produced and selling by this Fall, I am so sorry to say that unless something changes it will most likely not happen on that timeline.

With my daughter's due date just around the corner, I am realizing that in the meantime, while I wade through the myriad of business decisions, what I can do is embrace this season, a season of slowness, where things may not happen quickly, but they will happen intentionally

What this means for you is that I will be taking orders to design custom pieces, well-thought out designs with a purpose, and made just for you. This is the heart of slow fashion, taking the time to really think through what is in our closets, and buying pieces that will stand the test of time, whether by longevity, or by making that particular moment (like a wedding, a long-awaited vacation, or finally speaking on that one stage) so memorable that they become inseparable.

As always, I will keep you updated as things continue to change and progress, and I thank you for coming along this journey with me.
